Repairs & Servicing

Most repairs which come in to my workshop are repairable. From little mixers to speakers, church organs to electronic keyboards no job is too big or too small for Electronic Music Repair.  As a repairer I have been in the business a long while and have a wealth of knowledge and contacts.

Depending on the size of the instrument/electronic device depends on whether or not it can be fixed at the customers home/workplace or at my workshop. This will be decided during initial talks with the client.

If your instrument/equipment is under warranty then it would be best for you to contact your manufacturers, however if you do not have an existing warranty then feel free to contact me and I will see what I can do for you.

Just a few questions you may have……

Q. How long will the repair take?

A. After the initial telephone call is make I will try to repair your instrument/equipment as soon as possible depending on the availability of parts and the amount of work required to complete the job in hand.  If I have to order parts in for your repair I will contact you first to make sure that you are happy for me to proceed with the job and the costs involved.

Q. Is there a Call-Out Fee for repairs, if the instrument cannot be repaired at the workshop?

A. £50.00  which includes 1 hours labour.

Q. My instrument is very old, is it something you can repair?

A. 99% of the time all instruments can be repaired regardless of their age or condition, I will happily talk to you at our initial discussions  to establish whether or not the instrument/equipment can be repaired.  Some parts may not be available due the age of the equipment but an alternative may be sourced.

Q. Do you do FREE estimates?

A. Yes and No, if the problem can be quickly diagnosed then no charge will be made.  If further investigations/parts/manuals are need to complete the job then I will advise you of the costs before proceeding.

 Q. We are a school/college would you repair our instruments/equipment for us?

A. Yes, of course.  We have a standard repair charge for School Keyboards which will include all replacement parts and labour costs.  Contact me for more information.
